Trimediazine Oral Paste contains a broad spectrum antibiotic & can be given directly into the horse's mouth, for accurate dosing.

It can be used to treat bacterial infections in horses, including those caused by Staphylococcus spp; Streptococcus spp; Escherichia coli & Rhodococcus (Corynebacterium) equi.

Conditions it may be successful in treating include respiratory tract infections such as strangles, pneumonia & pleurisy; alimentary tract infections such as diarrhoea; septicaemia; general infections & wounds.

One whole syringe is a daily dose for a 500kg horse.

This product requires a prescription from your vet & will only be dispatched once we receive this prescription.

Legal Category- POM-V

Warnings & Contraindications- Do not treat more than one horse with the same syringe, unless they are already in direct contact with each other.

Not recommended to be given to horses with known hypersensitivity; cardiac arrhythmias or severe hepatic (liver) dysfunction.

Gloves should be worn when handling this product. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Pregnancy & Lactation- Safe to give during pregnancy & lactation.

Passport Requirements- This medication cannot be used in horses intended for human consumption. Your vet must have signed Section 9 of your horse's passport (or Section 2 for passports issued after 1st January 2016).

It is a criminal offence to tamper with a written prescription. eVetDrug has a zero tolerance policy for altered or forged prescriptions. We verify the authenticy of all prescriptions received with the vet who prescribed them. If we receive a prescription that is invalid, forged or altered, we will immediately cancel the whole order, de-activate the user account, report the misuse to the Veterinary Medicine Directorate and charge a reporting fee of £50.
