Switch is used to help prevent sweet itch affecting horses & ponies.
Switch is a long lasting insecticide and fly repellent which helps helps kill prevent against biting inscts. It can provide up to one week’s protection from each single application.
It does this, thanks to its active ingredient, Permethrin, which acts against the Culicodes midges that cause sweet itch.
Switch should be applied weekly from early spring onwards, to help prevent the sweet itch from occurring in the first place.
It should be applied topically to the mane & hindquarters or any areas badly affected, avoiding the saddle area if you can.
Application:
Apply the following amount (up to 40ml) to areas most affected by the sweet itch, these are most commonly the mane and hindquarters. The bottle includes a calibrated dispensing chamber for easy application.

Larger, heavier parcels are delivered by a courier service that required a signature.
Premium next day delivery is available on selected products but we must receive the order by 12pm. If ordered after 12pm, this delivery will be a 1-2 service. Please note that orders placed on a Friday will be delivered on Monday with the premium next day service.
If you require your order more urgently, please do not hesitate to contact us. We may be able to offer a more premium courier service, including delivery on a Saturday, for an additional fee.
The dispatch time for each item may differ, due to stock levels or delayed supply, but our aim is to dispatch within 48 hours of receipt of the order.
