*Available on selected products. Only dispatched Monday to Thursday and we must receive the order and prescription (if applicable) by 12 noon.
The dispatch time for each item may differ, due to stock levels or delayed supply, but our aim is to dispatch within 48 hours of receipt of the order. Please note, orders placed after 12 noon on a Friday or over the weekend, will not be processed until the following Monday.
Once your items are dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email. You will also be notified by email if we anticipate your delivery time to be longer than our stated time above.

Prescription medication and Aerosols
Prescription products cannot be sent until a valid prescription is received. We send all our prescription medication by a tracked courier service. If your prescription is delayed, you can split the delivery of your order to receive your other items sooner – just give us a call on 01344 283888 or email contact@evet.co.uk.
Aerosols are considered a ‘dangerous good’ by Royal Mail, due to their flammable nature, so they are no longer accepting parcels containing them. Aerosols must be delivered by courier. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Fridge items
Temperature sensitive items, such as eye medication, will be delivered in insulated packaging to ensure they remain cool and arrive in perfect condition. They may be sent in a separate parcel but your whole order should arrive at the same time.
We use a premium courier service to ensure fast, reliable delivery of your fridge items the day after dispatch. The cost of this service is £9.95. Please note these items will only be despatched Monday to Thursday to safeguard correct temperature control.
We currently cannot send fridge items to the Scottish Islands & Highlands and the Isle of Man due to courier restrictions on delivery times. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these restrictions.
Courier Information & Delivery instructions
We use one of the UK’s leading couriers, DPD Local to ensure fast, efficient delivery to your home or yard.
DPD Local offers an award winning ‘Predict Service’ so our customers will be given a 1 hour delivery slot by text or email. Customers can also choose to leave their parcel in a safe place, with a neighbour or have the parcel delivered on a different day.
Instructions for delivery drivers can be left in the “Delivery Instructions” box at checkout. Please leave instructions so that your delivery driver can find your house easily. You can also include your ‘safe place’ information in this box, e.g. “If out, leave with neighbour at No 21”. Royal Mail do not officially have such a service but we will include the instructions on the parcel to assist the delivery. While delivery instructions prove very useful, we would advise that you request delivery to an address where someone will be in, such as a work or yard address, whenever possible. We cannot be held liable for any parcels that go missing when left as instructed.
DPD Local have a Total Zero Initiative, which means they are a ‘Carbon Neutral Express Carrier’.
Additional courier services
If you require your order more urgently, please do not hesitate to contact us either by email or phone. We may be able to offer a more premium courier service, including delivery by 10 or on a Saturday, for an additional delivery fee.
Restricted postcodes
Certain postcodes in Scotland and some offshore addresses including Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands, do incur a delivery surcharge with our courier (an additional £8) and may have a longer delivery service. We apologise if you are affected by this and appreciate your understanding. We endeavour to regularly review this situation. If we are offered better prices and services from our courier in the future, we pledge to reflect that in our pricing.
