Advocate is effective against a number of parasites found on the skin: fleas; biting lice (Trichodectes canis); sarcoptic mange; ear mites (Otodectes cynotis); Demodex canis (which cause demodicosis); notoedric mange (Notoedres cati); cutaneous dirofilariosis (Dirofilaria repens) & Spirocerca lupi (which cause spirocercosis).
It is also active against a number of gastrointestinal worms (Toxocara cati & Ancylostoma tubaeforme), as well as heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) & lungworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum & Crenosoma vulpis).
Advocate is a very popular product, as it is one of the only ones in the UK that is licensed to prevent against & treat lungworm in dogs. Lungworm can be fatal; more & more cases of it are being seen in the UK.
Advocate 40mg for Small Cats & Ferrets- Ferrets; kittens & cats under 4kg
