Advocate Spot-on Solution, is a monthly spot-on solution for ferrets; cats & dogs, against both external & internal parasites.

Advocate is effective against a number of parasites found on the skin: fleas; biting lice (Trichodectes canis); sarcoptic mange; ear mites (Otodectes cynotis); Demodex canis (which cause demodicosis); notoedric mange (Notoedres cati); cutaneous dirofilariosis (Dirofilaria repens) & Spirocerca lupi (which cause spirocercosis).

It is also active against a number of gastrointestinal worms (Toxocara cati & Ancylostoma tubaeforme), as well as heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) & lungworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum & Crenosoma vulpis).

Advocate is a very popular product, as it is one of the only ones in the UK that is licensed to prevent against & treat lungworm in dogs. Lungworm can be fatal; more & more cases of it are being seen in the UK.

Advocate 40mg for Small Cats & Ferrets- Ferrets; kittens & cats under 4kg

Advocate 80mg for Large Cats- Cats weighing 4-8kg

Advocate 40mg for Small Dogs- Dogs weighing 4kg or less

Advocate 100mg for Medium Dogs- Dogs weighing 4.1-10kg

Advocate 250mg for Large Dogs- Dogs weighing 10.1-25kg

Advocate 400mg for Extra-Large Dogs- Dogs weighing 25.1-40kg

This product requires a prescription from your vet & will only be dispatched once we receive this prescription.

Warnings & Contraindications- Do not administer to puppies who are less than 7 weeks old. Do not administer to kittens who are less than 9 weeks old. Seek advice from your vet for use in animals who weigh less than 1kg.

This item is a prescription medication and cannot be sent until a valid prescription is received. Please note, we only accept prescriptions written by vets registered in the UK with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

We send all our prescription medication by a tracked courier service and dispatch only occurs on a Monday to Thursday.

Premium next day delivery is also available for this item but we must receive the order and prescription by 12 noon.
